The March Monochromatic Challenge was brown. I have lots of browns so it wasn't too difficult finding some lovely browns for this block, and of course, I just had to embroider an owl. I found a clipart owl that I thought was extremely cute and this is the result.
I love the French words fabric, most of all as it has the word, Chocolat, my favourite food of all time.
Check out Judy's Patchwork Times for other finishes in the brown challenge.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great block and I love that chocolat fabric too - what is it?
ReplyDeleteLove the mix of browns and that little owl is the cutest. I am dabbling in some hand sewing although it takes patience and I seem to have less and less of that the older I get. I never learned to sew when I was younger. Now I wish I had. :/ Have a great day. Tammy
