Lunch

I needed to get out as I was starting to suffer from cabin fever.  We had lunch along the river at Noosaville at a lovely restaurant, Sirocco. Guess where my camera was, so had to take these with my phone.

Salmon Fishcakes
Pizza bread with labneh and mint, eggplant zaalouk (?), tomato relish and spinach pinenut and saffron dip
The pizza bread looks like it's covered in grease in this photo, it wasn't. The dips were very nice. The Salmon fishcakes were excellent too.
We haven't eaten out for ages so it was a lovely diversion from binding the quilt.

The view to the river, sorry not the best, but look the sun was out down here even if it wasn't out at home.

Bitchypoo finished lunch with an Affogato.

  2. Yummo. I wonder if it's related to the Sirocco in Townsville. I used to love that place. Glad you had a nice day out!

  5. I am not sure what Affogatto is, but it looks like it has sugar in it, so I am willing to try it!

  6. Shay, I would have invited you if I had known I was going.
Cynthia, it didn't involve Vegemite so it was fabulous.

  7. it looks so exotic and delicious! Thanks for taking us along - almost as good as being there :)

we've got pretty crappy weather here - we're supposed to get about a 1/2 inch of ice tonight - your sunshine looks fabulous - happy that you had the chance to relax and enjoy it!
