It's finally finished, washed and dried, nice and soft and crinkly.

  10. Oh wow, that's come out so well. Like everyone has said, the quilting is phenomenal - those FMQ type classes have turned you into a quilting goddess! The back is just as beautiful as the front - two quilts in one. Well done and enjoy snuggling underneath it.

  11. Right..now Ive seen the whole thing - finished- I think you've been way too hard on yourself. Sure you had to unpick the circles of doom. Sure you felt like those pebbles would never end. Sure you bagged the freehand flowers in between the blocks. Well from where Im sitting (on my arse-in my chair- staring at your FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC quilt ) it looks amazing. Way to go Little Miss Sunshine. It's a work of art.

  18. Marg your strawberries and champagne quilt is divine. The name seems so appropriate for it. Your header on your blog is brilliant. I love it. I have been trying to nut out how to put some photos on mine but have had no success. What is the trick to it? Blogger is just not being friendly towards me:( Di.

  20. From reading the comments I'm guessing that all did not go smoothly with this quilt. I guess I'll get the detail when I go back and read your older posts. Whatever the traumas involved in its making, the end result is lovely - and all that fancy quilting too?
    Clever, clever, clever!
    cheers
