Wonky log cabin blocks

There are doubters out there, you know who you are!!!!!! You say my wonky blocks don't look wonky.  I know you are all being very nice ........... BUT THEY ARE WONKY (stamping my foot)!!!!!!!!

Maybe not very wonky, but they are wonky

That is not a weird camera angle that makes them look like that, I shot the photo from directly above.

After taking these photos though, I see that I have pretty much made them all the same shape, grrrrrrr. I need to do a bit of wonkiness to the left, they are all, except for the first one, smaller on the right hand side.

I followed this tutorial where Jacqui says Just a slight angle will multiply as the block grows. I have found that severe angles make this process much more difficult and don’t give that subtle wonky feeling that I like a block to have. Don’t feel that you need to trim everywhere. A little goes a long way.

Now I'm going to worry that they are not wonky enough.

If you haven't tried making one of these, I definitely think you should have a go as they are so easy and FUN.  You didn't, and never will, hear me say that about the snowball blocks.
