Favourite Things Friday

This week my favourite thing is my stained glass windows. I posted photos of these last year, but I haven't included them in FTF before.


I wasn't a fan of these windows when I first moved into the house, but they have grown on me and now it's one of the things I love about this house.

They depict different Aussie native flowers. The one above is Bottlebrush (Callistemon), the photo below, Wattle (Acacia).



The last one, my favourite, flowering Eucalyptus.


I love the colours in this one.

    I lived in a house once where I had stained glass windows made for beside my front door! I love the effect you get!

    I think they're stunning. really - I love them. Your style is so clean but beautiful - from what I can see of your house - and that's mostly the shots of the kitchen and verandah. I love your little piece of paradise!

    The windows are gorgeous Marg. I would love to have leadlight windows in my house, i just love all the different colours and textures of the glass.

    They really are striking and unusual. Those windows are one of the things that makes your house unique and stylish.

    I love them and can see why they're a favourite. It's the little touches that makes our houses a home right?

    Yipee it seems I can comment again. I love your windows. We had some a bit like yours in our last house. I really like the Australian theme and the fact that they aren't fussy, pretty.
